The first ever Sweatpants media project “On Pace with Pastrana” has scared us, made us laugh, brought us all over the world, and almost killed us more than once. All of that excitement and dedication wasn’t for nothing. Not only did the series garner over 5 million views, but it was also recently nominated as a finalist in the prestigious 2014 Reel Screen Awards. The series was nominated along side both a Hulu and National Geographic series. Not bad for a couple of chumps from Minnesota and a mullet wielding Canadian!
Contestants were determined by juries of the industry’s most highly regarded experts who singled out projects that merit special Creative Talent & Craft Awards for directing, cinematography, music, host/presenter, editing, casting, most compelling character and most original concept.
The Series, as well as Sweatpants Media was also featured in the Long Beach Business Journal!
“On Pace with Pastrana” may have only aired for two seasons, but we have some big plans cooking up with Red Bull and Mr. Pastrana. Stay tuned!
